Does a robot base hole pattern prove the support is suitable?
Matching holes do not approve a robot support. Request exact-model operating and stopping loads, current installation documents and a review of the proposed structure.
A matching hole pattern is a geometry check
No. Matching the base holes in a CAD model does not establish that a stand, table or floor will support the proposed robot installation. Use the drawing to check the interface, then request the load and installation documents for the exact arm and mounting orientation.
Universal Robots' UR10e SW10_14 manual presents mounting views and fastening instructions separately from stand dimensioning. The drawing and the support assessment answer different questions.
Include operating and stopping loads
The UR10e stand page identifies axial and lateral forces, torsion and tilting moments, with separate operating and stopping cases. These illustrate the information to request; they are not CBOXTEC load limits.
Ask which model, orientation, reference frame and load combinations the supplied figures cover. Provide the intended motions and the installed gripper, fingers, adapter and workpiece. A payload rating alone is not a base-load report.
Put the supporting structure in the review
A plate that matches the drawing still needs to be assessed with the structure beneath it. Ask the responsible mechanical or structural reviewer to address the support and anchorage using the exact model's documents and the site conditions.
The UR10e page also discusses static stiffness, dynamic stiffness and fatigue. Ask how the proposed support will be checked for the intended operation and repeated cycles. This article does not prescribe an anchor, plate thickness or design factor.
Use the correct model and document revision
The UR10e fastening page notes that tightening values were updated at SW5.18 and older printed manuals differ. This is a reason to identify the applicable revision, not to reuse its bolts or torque on another model.
For an arm enquiry, send the model or shortlist, mounting orientation, support layout, carried assembly and motion description. Request current manufacturer-approved mounting and installation documents, and ask who will review the supporting structure. CBOXTEC supplies robot arms and grippers; this enquiry does not establish mounting suitability or a commitment to installation services.
